This afternoon the 62nd edition of the CADE Executives 2024, and the welcoming words were given by Julio Cáceres, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Arequipa (CCIA), and Juan Manuel García, general director of TECSUP.
In his speech, Cáceres emphasized the importance of the annual executive conference as a starting point to “forge a new prosperous society.” In that sense, he called on business leaders to work for an “active, responsible, profitable and adequately regulated” private sector.

“CADE Executive 2024 is the ideal space to achieve consensus and lay the foundations to promote the State, private and market equation”stated the president of the CCIA.
In this way, Cáceres assured, Peru will be able to obtain “sustained development over time” and a “democracy free of radicalism that only generates backwardness and disappointment.”
The executive also stated that the CCIA supported the execution of the mining projects Aunt MaryZafranal and Pampa del Pongowhich involve an investment of more than US$4,000 million.

In relation to the agro-export sector, Cáceres indicated that the Majes Siguas Special Project will generate more than 120 thousand new jobs and will mean the expansion of the agricultural frontier with more than 38,500 new cultivated hectares.
For his part, the director of TECSUP, Juan Manuel García, emphasized the articulation of the company, the State and education to face future challenges.
“I am sure that the conclusions reached in this CADE will be very valuable to build the Peru we want,” said García.
