Juliana Barrientos wins Miss Universe 2024 with her innovative social project that saves lives

The representative of Bolivia, Juliana Barrientos, has conquered one of the moments highlights of the Miss Universe 2024 pageantby winning one of the three gold medals in the “Voice for Change” programwhich recognizes women leaders who promote positive change in their communities.

​​Barrientos, biochemist by profession, managed to stand out among the 125 candidates for fusing science and social impact, consolidating itself as an example of commitment and leadership. This recognition, in addition to positioning it as one of the favorites, gives him a prize of 12,000 dollars, which will be destined to continue with its social work.

The title “Voice for Change” is awarded to those candidates who generate transformations in their countries through innovative proposals and with community impact. Juliana has not only raised the name of Bolivia, but has inspired millions with her focus on protecting lives and empowering women.
