This was announced by the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (Ideam) through a statement “Hurricane Julia, in the Caribbean Sea, is characterized by a low pressure zone of 990 hPa. Hurricane Julia is forecast to remain on its westward track, to continue as a hurricane tonight and early Sunday morning, moving away from the islands of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina; According to the latest analysis, Hurricane Julia is currently over the Island of San Andrés”.
