Judy Meana resigns as Deputy Mayor of the capital city

Judy Meana presented her resignation from the position of Vice Mayor of Panama Capital City in a letter addressed to Mayor Jose Luis Fábrega where she stressed that her departure from office is due to her “dissatisfaction with her arbitrary practice in decision-making.”

“After having analyzed in depth this decision that I am communicating here, you must be clear that this resignation from my position as Vice Mayor of Panama City for the period 2019-/2024, only manifests my deep disagreement with your arbitrary practice in decision-making, which puts the credibility of his government management at risk, approaching the dangerous abyss of injustice that causes discomfort in the city’s population, “says Meana’s letter.

The now former Vice Mayor in recent months was in charge of speaking with the media about the decisions that were made in the mayor’s office
