The Judiciary ordered 12 months of preventive detention against the leader of Peru Libre, Vladimir Cerrón Rojasfor failing to comply with restrictive measures in the context of the investigation into the Antalsis case.
The Sixth Preparatory Investigation Court headed by Judge Leodán Cristóbal Ayala issued the measure against Cerrón Rojas, who is being investigated for being part of the alleged criminal organization of Martín Belaunde Lossio.
According to the prosecution’s thesis, when Vladimir Cerrón was the regional governor of Junín He defrauded the State of more than 26 million soles through works that were carried out during his administration, between 2011 and 2014.
Through its social media, the Judiciary announced the measure imposed on the leader of Peru Libre, who has already been a fugitive from justice for 290 days.

During the hearing, eCerrón’s lawyer recalled that his client is in breach the rules of conduct and does not go through biometric control because it is hidden by the warrant against him.
“Mr. Cerrón is not showing up because he has to wait for his release,” the lawyer said.
