The court specified that once the decision is final, it will have the following effects: the cancellation of the registration of the aforementioned political organization, the closure of its party premises and the impossibility of its re-registration in the Registry of Political Organizations or other registry. .
Likewise, it declared inadmissible the request to declare the disqualification (as a jurisdictional sanction of a political nature) of the citizens who make up the chain of command responsible for the undemocratic conduct committed by the defendant organization.
Although the party has tried to separate itself from Antauro Humala, announcing his expulsion, the ruling establishes that he is the leader of the political movement and that “through his various messages he promotes and justifies attacks against the life and integrity of certain people.”
With this ruling from the Judiciary, Humala will not be able to run for the Presidency of the Republic in 2026.
