At the request of the Ad Hoc Prosecutor’s Office for the Odebrecht and Lava Jato cases, the Judiciary ordered the partial seizure of the lifetime pension received by the former president Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and which amounts to a total of 15,600 soles per month.
Judge Raúl Justiniano declared the Attorney General’s request founded and ordered the execution of this precautionary measure that involves the retention of 4,375 soles.
The provision is part of the preparatory investigation process being followed against the former president in the case of the Amazonas Norte Multimodal Axis project (Iirsa Norte highway) and which is linked to the company. Odebrecht.

According to the court order, in addition, in the months of July and December in which Kuczynski receives a bonus for the aforementioned pension, the seizure will amount to a total of S/ 8,750.
Kuczynski, it is recalled, is being investigated for the Iirsa Norte case along with a group of former ministers of Alejandro Toledo’s government, who is precisely in the last stage of an oral trial for the alleged receipt of bribes for about 20 million dollars from of Odebrecht. This in exchange for favoring the tenders for sections two and three of the Peru-Brazil Interoceanic Road Project.
