According to prosecutor Arturo Mosqueira, Navarro was one of the instigators of the protests and one of those who plotted to take over the airport in the city of Apurima.
And it is that Navarro Flores was found on his cell phone an audio that he sent on December 10, 2022 to Gloria Castillo Terrones, Castillo’s sister, in which he assures that he has kidnapped two police officers.
“Our partner (Pedro Castillo) has been imprisoned, they have practically kidnapped him and we cannot allow it. We have taken two police officers hostage, we have risen up in protests calling for the release and reinstatement of Pedro Castillo. Companion Pedro has not made a mistake or a sin, ”he expressed in the voice recording.
Along these lines, the Prosecutor’s Office argued that the same pattern was followed on January 31 in the attempt to attack the Jorge Chávez airport in Lima, and that for this reason this mobilization was premeditated.
About Jara, the prosecutor Mosqueira indicated that as a union leader, he threatened the members of these organizations to make them participate in the protests.
