The judge of the Guarayos province, Roberto Cruz Hurtado, in a virtual hearing held on Friday, August 20determined preventive detention in the Palmasola prison for Roxana Vaca, accused of being the leader of the people who overwhelmed 100 hectares of land on the San Luis property, owned by the Municipal Government.
Vaca, who has a record for the same crime, is also accused of threatening, serious and very serious injuries, deprivation of liberty, among other crimes.
The woman and her group continue to settle in these properties, located two kilometers from Ascensión, where built precarious houses despite having an eviction order issued by the Environmental Judge.
On the other hand, a couple of months ago, the judge also sent Elizabeth Chemandusrazy, a well-known leader in Guarayos for subjugating land, to Palmasola.
