The irregularities would have directly impacted the technical reserves of the state insurer, compromising its operational capacity and the health of the insured.

Camacho explained that the court based its decision on three fundamental elements, the first being the seriousness of the acts of corruption, as they were recognized and assessed by the judge in his resolution.
He indicated that the second element was the forcefulness of the investigation by the Public Ministry, which was accepted by the court as support for the decision, citing documents and testimonies presented during the hearing.
As a third aspect, the judicial official valued the collaboration offered by some defendants, which led to the imposition of preventive detention for seven of the accused, sent to the penitentiary centers of Najayo Men and Najayo Womenwhile three others will fulfill house arrest, with payments of a financial guarantee of one million pesos each and an impediment to leaving the country.
Camacho highlighted that the ten defendants in the process remain deprived of liberty and assured that the Public Ministry will continue to work tirelessly so that all of them answer to justice for the acts of corruption committed.
