Based on the grounds and elements collected in the investigations by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, plus the support of the civil party, such as the victim’s family, the criminal investigation judge of the Guarayos Province, Roberto Cruz Hurtado, determined preventive detention for 180 days, in Palmasola prison, for Rogelio Arayare Pablo, 44 ​​years old, Main suspect in the crime of femicide of a 17-year-old girlan event that occurred earlier this week, in El Puente – Guarayos.

In the virtual hearing, which lasted more than two hours, held on Sunday morning, the authority assessed the elements that demonstrate the participation and the possibility of authorship of the accusedwho is the ex-partner of the victim, named Carola Subía Cardozo; the young woman was approximately 5 months pregnant.

“With this determination the family is calmer, but it will be completely calm when the evidence is 100% proven and a decision is made. fair sentence, as determined by article 252 of the penal code, which establishes 30 years in prison for cases of femicide,” said Hernán Rivero, defense attorney for the victim’s family.
