Judge issues 83 arrest warrants for the Ayotzinapa case

The arrest warrant issued this Friday at the request of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), is also against:

-26 police from Huitzuco
– 6 of Iguala
– 1 Cocula
– 11 state police of Guerrero
– 14 members of the criminal group Guerreros Unidos

In a statement, the FGR pointed out that all these people are linked to the disappearance of the 43 normalistas from Ayotzinapa, which occurred on September 26 and 27, 2014.

The crimes for which the arrest warrants were issued are for organized crime, forced disappearance, torture, homicide and crimes against the administration of justice, reported the FGR.

The Prosecutor’s Office stressed that the accusations, in each case, will be disclosed in the corresponding criminal process, and the fulfillment of the arrest warrants will also be informed at the procedural moment that the law authorizes.
