His former assistant José Corcuera Bocanegra did the same: “I knew that prosecutor Rojas received money from Willington Ojeda, after coordinating with Enrique Pacheco Acero in cases of land usurpation. At the request of prosecutor Rojas, I received sealed envelopes,” Corcuera stated.

Both were cornered by the various evidence collected by the superior anti-corruption prosecutor of Lima Sur, Eiser Jiménez: statement of an effective collaborator, witnesses, audios and videos.
