Judge declines jurisdiction and suspends hearing of action for freedom of Luis Fernando Camacho

The judge of the Eighth Criminal Sentencing Court of Santa Cruz, Elvira Velásquez, ordered this Monday decline its competence and suspend the freedom action hearing filed by the defense of Governor Luis Fernando Camacho, which was to be installed virtually today at 6:00 p.m.

From the outskirts of the Chonchocoro prison, Juan Carlos Ledezma, lawyer for the first departmental authority, stated that Judge Velásquez’s decision was given by instruction of the Public Ministry and that the jurisdiction to carry out the hearing was given to a judge from La Paz.
