The eighth district court for amparo in criminal matters in Mexico City admitted the amparo trial filed by Gilda Susana Lozoya Austin, sister of Emilio Lozoya, former director of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), against the arrest warrant issued Against her, once again, any control judge, since she is accused of her alleged responsibility in operations with resources of illicit origin related to the Agronitrogenados case.
The sister of the former director of Pemex filed the demand for guarantees before the district court on December 6, where she indicated as an act claimed the injunction that was issued within criminal case 211/2019.
The justice administrator gave entry to the demand for guarantees after Gilda Susana confirmed that the digitized document of the first notarial testimony with which she accredits her personality is a complete and unaltered copy of the printed document.
The judge did not grant the provisional suspension since the petitioner did not request it. Likewise, he indicated the next January 16, 2023 at 11:20 a.m. to carry out the constitutional hearing where he will determine whether to grant him the protection of federal justice.
“The demand for merit is admitted, without ordering to process the suspension of the act claimed for not having been requested… Request a justified report from the responsible authority, who must submit it within a period of 15 days,” the agreement states.
Last November, that court annulled the arrest warrant against Gilda Susana.
At that time, when complying with an amparo ruling, Judge Luz María Ortega Tlapa, attached to the eighth district court for amparo in criminal matters, pointed out that on October 13 she annulled the injunction issued by a federal control judge on the Last April 4 at the request of the Attorney General of the Republic within criminal case 211/2019.
