Former Minister of Transport and Communications Juan Silva Villegas will sue the businesswoman karelim lopez for the alleged crimes of libelcalumny and defamation as a result of the statements of the aspiring effective collaborator before the Audit and Comptroller Commission of Congress, to which he assured that he met with the former official.
In a letter sent on April 27, Silva Villegas maintains that he was “totally stunned, surprised, astonished and disconcerted” after hearing the lobbyist assure that they held meetings when he was serving as Minister of Transport and Communications.
“A fact that is totally false because I have never met with you as a minister. I repeat, I have never met with you, ever. Nor have I met with you as a private natural person. Specifically: I have never met with you either as a public official or as a natural person”, reads in the letter accessed by La República.
