Juan Pablo Guanipa asks the ruling party to "get rid" of Maduro

Juan Pablo Guanipa told the pro-government militants that there are no guarantees that Maduro will not persecute them at a certain moment. He asked them not to validate the results from the CNE because they know that it was Edmundo González Urrutia who won.

On Wednesday, August 21, Primero Justicia political leader Juan Pablo Guanipa addressed the ruling party’s militants to ask them not to validate the results issued by the CNE in which they declared President Nicolás Maduro the winner, since he claims that PSUV witnesses know that the winner of the elections was Edmundo González Urrutia.

In a video posted on social networksGuanipa reminded PSUV supporters and activists that the situation in the country is critical, in addition to the separation of many families whose members left in search of a better quality of life; facts that contrast with what high-ranking officials of the Maduro administration claim to do, who acquire expensive goods and eat lavishly.

He stressed that armed civilian groups attack the neighborhoods where protests are held in favor of Edmundo González Urrutia, explaining that the late Hugo Chávez once won in those same places and that now the president “riddles them without mercy.”

He stressed that many decided to vote for change and support the opposition presidential candidate and reminded them that everyone has a place in the country they want to build, where there are opportunities. He also stressed that there is no revenge, but rather reunions and joy.

«Political movements can lose elections and recover. That is the democracy we want, but dictatorships that are imposed by blood and fire, against what the people want, do not recover. They end up being repudiated. Losing is not the end of the world. They can recover and free themselves from the burden of Maduro to work in next year’s parliamentary elections,» said Guanipa.

He stressed that there is no persecution against the militants or against the Communist Party of Venezuela, but that democratic politics will be allowed where elections can be won and lost. “If you allow Maduro to impose fraud, your political movement has no salvation. When the dictatorship falls, no one will vote for you,” he said.

Juan Pablo Guanipa told them that there are no guarantees that Maduro will not persecute them at some point.
