Juan Guaidó: “The country is experiencing a tragedy and this must change”

Guaidó insists that lifting the sanctions depends on free presidential elections

During a visit to Bolívar state, Juan Guaidó assured that he will continue to accompany the Venezuelan population to denounce and solve their problems.


Juan Guaidó, president of the National Assembly elected in December 2015 and recognized by the international community as interim president of Venezuela, said on Tuesday, May 10, that the country is experiencing a tragedy and this must change.

The statements were made through a video on his Twitter account regarding a visit to Bolívar state. Guaidó stressed that the crisis affecting the country is evident in the entity and denounced the long queues to stock up on gasoline.

In this sense, he assured that he will continue to accompany the Venezuelan population to denounce and solve their problems, “we will continue in the streets of Venezuela to overcome these dark moments together, we will achieve freedom,” he said.

“We fight until we recover democracy. We know that we are going to achieve it when we see testimonies of integrity as in the Southeast of the country that does not give up, ”he added.

Similarly, he reported that he was in Ciudad Guayana, accompanying the workers in their organization.
