The leader and candidate of Voluntad Popular for the primaries, Juan Guaidoasserted on the afternoon of this Sunday, April 2, that the administration of Nicolás Maduro is preparing an arrest warrant against him, based on “false actions” with the management of Monomeros.
“This morning we received information, data from three different sources, that Maduro is about to issue an arrest warrant against me, obviously based on false actions and the persecution against some people linked to the opposition will probably also intensify,” Guaidó said in a statement. video broadcast to the media.
He assured that “while they want to auction off the company (Monómeros), we kept it as Venezuelan patrimony.”
