The Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV) announced a broad agenda of activities on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of this political organization, among which stands out the beginning on September 12 of the celebration of a Great National Festival, to which all young people are invited to hold a constructive debate on issues of national interest.
Through their digital networks, the socialist youth has been inviting people to the broad agenda of activities that will take place in Caracas and other cities in the country.
“We are preparing for the most important month for youth, so on September 12 we will celebrate the 16th anniversary of Chavez’s youth party,” said the general secretary of the Jpsuv, Grecia Colmenares.
He added that they are also especially linking “those young people who are in the community doing theater, rap, who are dancing, working in literature, who are today doing art.”
In this regard, he said that through culture “we show what it means to be Venezuelan and for that reason, we are going to have a beautiful agenda full of international guests who come from various parts of the world.”
He said that the celebration will be attended by more than 200 international delegates, friends from Venezuela, and young people under 30 years of age, who will share different activities with us.”
It is worth remembering that the Jpsuv was created by Commander Hugo Chávez in 2008, with the aim of organizing, training and incorporating Venezuelan youth into revolutionary political activism in order to radically transform society, working to overcome forms of exploitation, exclusion, marginalization and discrimination that affect young people, by energizing and democratizing the everyday spaces of the youth world.
