Irreparable loss for national journalism. Jaime Chincha, journalist of the Republic with extensive career and recognized for his commitment to democratic values, died today, Sunday, September 7, at 48, product of a fulminating infarction.
The television journalist and driver developed an outstanding career in Peru since 1999. Throughout his career, he served as a presenter in media such as Channel N, where he began his journalistic work, as well as in América Televisión, frequency Latin, Willax and RPP, among others. Jaime Chincha went and will always be part of the family of the Republic. It was in this medium that he led the program ‘From the fact to the saying’ and exercised as a columnist, leaving a legacy marked by his commitment to justice and the strengthening of national democracy.
In ‘From the fact to the saying’, a program transmitted through the YouTube channel of this medium, Chincha demonstrated one of its greatest passions: interviewing political figures and analyzing the national situation. Recognized for his direct style and his acute questions, he consolidated himself as one of the most prominent and respected interviewers of Peruvian journalism.

Juliana Oxenford and Rosa María Palacios, companions of Jaime Chincha in the Republic, said goodbye to him through their social networks. The three journalists had recently shared a special driving in which they discussed the national situation.
Juliana Oxenford, a driver of ‘Arde Troya’, remembered Chincha as a journalist of extensive experience and evoked the moments that strengthened their relationship beyond the cameras: “I am going to miss you, we are going to miss you. I stay with your leisure I wait for you with a good trova, ”he said on his social networks.
Rosa María Palacios, driver of ‘Without script’, also dedicated some felt words to her colleague and friend: “With enormous sadness I share this tragic news that I never thought of giving them. A good journalist, a friendly and reliable colleague, leaves, but above all things, a good man. Very young to say goodbye,” he said.
