José Steinsleger: Venezuela and the mud of history

OR

No. Yesterday, the little one family fired a missile at me at point-blank range: “What did the kings bring you, Tata?” Ugh!… How to respond? Embrace him with emotion or initiate him into historical materialism? Don’t be afraid… I opted for the first, at the time of celebrating (God first), that the fucking Kings wouldn’t leave him a “play” or a smart phone so that my grandson stops being smart.

Two. I write these lines in Argentina, where the common and not so common people suffer from a very strange mixture of apathy, confusion and silent daily sadness. With the exception, of course, of the corporate mafias that loot the State, the Joker who presides over the country and the mindless liberticidal hordes that together with thousands of stateless Venezuelans gathered around the emblematic obelisk of Buenos Aires to celebrate the humiliating kidnapping of Nicolás Maduro, constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and now a prisoner of war of the empire.

Three. In addition to my own conjectures, there rest on my desk a hundred of those thought by skilled and sinister analysts of excellence. What will be priority? Ventilate them tediously or listen to the curses of Commander Hugo Chávez, wherever he is? But someone already said that men and people have never learned anything from history, and have always wasted its lessons.

Four. Faced with the Bolivarian tragedy, I believe that the devout left will have to review certain liturgies, and the impious right will have to soak their beards. Rome never paid traitors, and in this kind of kilombo announced to the point of nausea, the great truth was told by the undisputed leader of the global lie: “Corina: you are wonderful… but since you never represented anything, you can take the Nobel Peace Prize wherever you like.”

Five. And in politics you have to have an axis, which has nothing to do with the “middle point.” Therefore, and paraphrasing the Spanish philosopher María Zambrano, we hope that the time has come to face the profound crisis of the present, retreating towards better times.

Six. In his famous Letter from Jamaica, the Liberator wrote: “It is a grandiose idea to try to form the entire New World into a single nation with a single link that links its parts to each other and to the whole. Since it has its origin, a language, customs and a religion, it should, therefore, have a single government that confederates the different states that are to be formed. How beautiful it would be if the isthmus of Panama were for us what the isthmus of Corinth was for the Greeks! I hope that one day we will have the fortune of installing there an august congress of the representatives of the republics, kingdoms and empires to treat and discuss the high interests of peace and war, with the nations of the other three parts of the world. This type of corporation may take place at some happy time of our regeneration…” (September 6, 1815).

Seven. Bolívar tried it, and after defeating the Spanish empire in the pampas of Ayacucho (southern Peru, December 9, 1824), the creator of Gran Colombia convened the Amphictyonic Congress of Panama (June 1826). However, few countries showed interest. In particular, the department of Venezuela governed by General José Antonio Páez, leader of the La Cosiata separatist movement, which had already separated Venezuela from Gran Colombia in April.

Eight. Three years later, in Guayaquil, the Liberator writes to the English colonel Patricio Campbell: “…the United States seem destined by Providence to plague America with misery in the name of freedom.” A prophecy that no one has been able to deny, and that the Quito native Manuelita Sáenz (1797-1856), his great love, had glimpsed long before, when after the death of Bolívar the freedom psychotics expelled her from Bogotá as a “pernicious foreigner.”

Nine. Gentlemen and ladies, ladies and gentlemen, companions, companions, companions: 2026 will be the year in which the lies imposed by the post-1945 global order will be replaced by those that AI has planned for the remainder of the century: America, Greenland and Great Britain for the Americans; Europe and North Africa for the Russians, and the rest of the world for the Chinese.

Ten. The authentic Bolivarian revolution has just begun.
