The Minister of Public Works, José Luis Andrade, appointed by the president-elect, José Raúl Mulino, indicated that he will be learning about the progress of the fourth bridge over the canal, improving the country’s road network, which is not in its best conditions, and making a project planning for the next five-year period 2024-2029
Regarding the Fourth Bridge over the Panama Canal, he indicated that “what we heard is that the first stone has already been laid by President Cortizo and we have to soak up the current situation (of the project) and move it forward.”
Asked what his first project would be once he reaches the Ministry of Public Works, Andrade pointed out that “fixing all the gaps in the road network that exist throughout the Republic.”
Regarding the construction of the train to the province of Chiriquí, I indicate that this is one of the government’s goals and it is a project that will be carried out, “Rest assured that this project will be carried out,” said Andrade.
