Mexico City, Mexico.- The Brazilian interpreter, José de Abreu, recognized by the Cuban public for his multiple roles in soap operas, has shared several images of his visit to Cuba on his social networks.
According to the digital magazine Mi Cuba, De Abreu is visiting the island to film a movie.

In total he has acted in more than 50 television dramas and almost 30 movies.

A de Abreu, in addition to his characters, is recognized for being a fervent supporter of Brazilian President Luis Ignacio Lula Da Silva. While he became a staunch enemy of his predecessor Jair Bolsonaro. In 2019, José managed to get Bolsonaro out of his boxes by proclaiming himself president, mounting a satire that showed the dissatisfaction of part of the electorate with the previous management.
The actor is very active in the networks supporting a government that proclaims itself to be on the left. He has also been a militant of the Workers’ Party (the one that Lula militates) during the elections.
In 2018 he gave an interview to rebel youth, where he told how he lives between three passions: social networks, politics and acting. The actor is also famous for having used Twitter to confess his sexual orientation: “I am bisexual”, he wrote in 2013.
