Today, Sunday, November 13, 6:00 p.m., attorney Jorge Rolon Luna officially presents his application for the selection process for the conformation of the shortlist for the next Attorney General of the State.
Rolón Luna is a lawyer graduated from the UNA Law School, a former electoral judge, a specialist in Citizen Security and Human Rights and constitutional law. He is a teacher (Catholic University, UNAE, Judicial School), consultant to national and international organizations, author of legal works published in the country and abroad (criminal law, international criminal law, constitutional law), novelist and short story writer. Experience in public management as Commissioner of the Truth and Justice Commission, Commissioner of the Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture, Director of the Observatory of Coexistence and Citizen Security of the Ministry of the Interior, Director of the Ombudsman’s Office, Legal Director of the Ministry of Civil Service and member of the Itaipu Binational Council, former member of the negotiating team with Brazil (2008-2009).
