Jorge Rodríguez: TSJ ruling preserves social health and peace in the country

The ruling of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) is the result of the functioning of a healthy and efficient State that preserves social health and peace in Venezuela, said the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, on Thursday.

In statements to the official channel Venezolana de Televisión, he said that “it constitutes a historic milestone of what represents the functioning of a State with the roles that each of the Public Powers exercises in terms of collaboration between the powers, of concomitance in the development of these powers and, mainly, what is the ultimate goal of the functioning of a State, of a healthy State, of an efficient State, which is to preserve the social health of the country, to preserve the peace of the Republic.”

Furthermore, it preserves the inalienable principles of sovereignty and independence of the country and signifies the wisdom that the three judges of the court established in the ruling 031 released earlier.

He added that this sentence is related to the proposal made by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the midst of the fascist plan carried out by the extreme right after the elections of July 28, in which they murdered 25 Venezuelans.

He stressed that it was a well-orchestrated coup with the entire communication platform, the support of imperial powers and “with the voice of the lackeys who always come out to beat the drum” like the president of Chile, Gabriel Boric.

Rodríguez recalled that during the Electoral Chamber’s expert appraisal, the former far-right candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, did not appear before the court and the parties that support him did not present the minutes.

Earlier, the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ certified the results announced by the National Electoral Council (CNE) on the elections in which the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, was elected.

In the ruling, they state that the court certifies the electoral material examined in an unobjectionable manner and categorically validates the results.
