Jorge Rodríguez said that El Salvador violates the human rights of Venezuelans sent to the CECOT and asked to give information to lawyers, as well as publish the list with the names of those who are detained in that country
Jorge Rodríguez, vice president of Communication and Electoral Affairs, reported on Monday, April 21 that the National Electoral Council (CNE) received 36,986 applications, through 54 political parties, for the different positions that will be chosen on Sunday, May 25 in the regional elections.
During a press conference of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), he explained that there are 6,687 registered candidates, which means that on average there are some 13 candidates for charge, among governors, deputies to the National Assembly and the Legislative Councils.
In reference to the campaign commands, Rodríguez indicated that the statements will be presented in the next few days and announced that they will “design a campaign command for each communal circuit; that is, 5,338 ».
The also deputy of the National Assembly asked those who are elected in the regional elections “to commit to the peoples of the States and that the budget is distributed through the communal circuits, not through the governorates or of friends, but of the popular organization.”
Jorge Rodríguez also asked Venezuelans to go out to exercise their right to vote on May 25: “Punish them voting, point them out: you were the one who asked for sanctions, you were the one who said that mercenaries and paramilitaries came to act against tranquility,” he added and said that the opposition does not reach public positions to help the people.

Rodríguez denounced that El Salvador violates the human rights of Venezuelans sent to the terrorism confinement center (CECOT) because he says they are without the right to defense.
«He (Nayib Bukele) treats those Venezuelans of slaves because millions of dollars are paid. All Venezuelans in El Salvador are violated human rights. There is no way for any lawyer to certify their status. The human rights letter of the United Nations Organization (UN) and all migrant treatment conventions are being violated, ”he said.
