Jorge Rodríguez receives diplomats from Europe and the United Kingdom

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, held a “fruitful and frank meeting” with diplomats from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland accredited in Venezuela.

The highest authority of the Venezuelan Parliament highlighted that this meeting is framed in the peace diplomacy carried out by the national Government, headed by the acting president Delcy Rodríguez.

“Within the framework of the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, we reaffirm the commitment to consolidate a mutual agenda of dialogue and cooperation for the benefit of our people,” Jorge Rodríguez wrote on his Telegram channel, accompanied by an image of the meeting.

Links in strategic sectors were also reviewed: “We reviewed commercial and economic relations in areas such as energy, education, science, technology and the pharmaceutical industry, in which European companies have been based in Venezuela for a long time,” explained Foreign Minister Yván Gil.
