Jorge Rodríguez affirms that González Urrutia’s letter is true and shows his signature

Jorge Rodríguez proposes regulating social networks and resuming the debate on NGOs

The president of the 2020 National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, assured this Wednesday, September 18, that the letter disseminated on social media, attributed to the opposition presidential candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, is true and that it is duly signed by the ambassador and by him in a meeting held the day before he was granted safe conduct to travel to Spain as an asylum seeker.

From the Federal Legislative Palace, Rodríguez said that days before going into exile, the opposition politician had sent interlocutors to contact President Nicolás Maduro about González Urrutia’s desire to leave the country and revealed that there were two face-to-face meetings, as well as telephone conversations.
