Jorge Montoya: "In a situation like this, there is no proportionality, but the supremacy of force"

the congressman Jorge Montoyafrom Renovación Popular, welcomed the government’s decision to declare a state of emergency at the national level, indicating that in the face of the violence of the protests there should be no proportionality, but rather the “supremacy of force.”

“It seems good to me that he has ordered the state of national emergency because this can occur anywhere and anywhere they have to be empowered to act in the best possible way, using the weapons that the law gives them, they cannot go unarmed to fight ”he told the press from Congress.

“When there is a situation like this, there is no proportionality, there is the supremacy of force to be able to defeat them, otherwise they would lose and nobody goes to a war to lose”he added.

Jorge Montoya criticized the members of Peru Libre who have asked for the state of emergency to be lifted and who questioned this measure as militarization. About them, he said that they are defending violent actions to implement the “communist agenda” with which they applied.

“They have no moral capacity to talk about these things, they are the enemy within Congress and the enemy within Congress must be left on the sidelines. The fight here is against communism and terrorism and those who fight against a state of emergency in the country.”said the parliamentarian.
