The Cuban coach Jorge Gallardo at the head of the 2023 youth team of Bocas del Toro has been selected as the Manager of the Year in the Caja de Ahorros Cup in honor of Magaly Medina, after a great performance in the Regular Series.
Gallardo commanded Bocas del Toro and placed it among the 8 greats of the Regular Round, receiving 6 votes out of 18 possible where the members of the Board of Directors of the Fedebeis and the Technical Commissioners of the Tournament could vote.
Second was the manager of Panama Oeste, Carlos César Maldonado who received 5 votes.
Rodrigo Merón de Coclé (3), José Tinoco de Occidente with 3 and Israel Delgado de Herrera with 1 also received votes.
The selection for the Most Valuable Player of the 2023 Season is expected this Thursday, which was the responsibility of the specialized sports press and the Board of Directors of Fedebeis.
