On December 31, 2024, Kevin Bocanegra, a young 25-year-old lawyer and mountaineer, died during an expedition in the Nevado del Tolima.
Recently, his girlfriend, Jois Ramírez, shared on social media an emotional letter that Kevin had written to her before his departure. In the letter, Kevin expressed his deep gratitude for the moments shared, describing Jois as “the love of my life” and “my best friend.” These words reflect the solid relationship they had and the affection they showed each other.

“I wanted to thank you for every moment we have shared together. Thank you for being the love of my life, for giving me such beautiful and sincere love. Thank you also for being the best life partner and best friend,” says the first part of the handwritten letter.
Add the letter written in three different colors: “I want you to know that more than my partner I also see you as a friend, a confidant, a moral support and I want you to know that I feel very proud and lucky to be able to meet and connect with a great person like you.”
