Through joint search actions with members of the National Border Service, the National Police, they located the 5-year-old minor Valery Palacio reported missing.
The girl was found in a residence in Finca 51 in the district of Changuinola, province of Bocas del Toro, along with a family where there were other children. Physically, the minor was safe and sound, however, she was transferred for medical evaluation.
Valery disappeared on September 22, being reported missing by her relatives on September 26, activating the Amber Alert and search protocols. In the morning hours of today, Saturday, October 5, the mother of the minor was arrested and remains under investigation in the case.
