John Dornheim on police officers involved in criminal acts: ‘We have had more than 80 members dismissed’

The director of the National Police (PN), John Dornheim, spoke this Friday about the members of the entity that have been involved in criminal acts, revealing that so far this year more than 80 members have been dismissed, among they, two in the degree of commissioners.

“We are not looking at who, or the degree that the official or member of the institution holds or has, but what has done wrong and what damage is being caused to society. I can point out that so far this year they have also been has called for the dismissal of commissioned officers,” he said.

He specified that they do not discriminate rank or degree, “whoever commits a crime or a misdemeanor, is left out of the institution.”

It should be noted that in the last “Operation Fire” carried out by units of the National Police and the Public Ministry, where more than 40 people were apprehended, there is a police unit, which has already been removed from office.
