This Thursday (7), the Brazilian number 49 in the world, faces Chinese Bu Yuchaookete (76th in the ranking), in the first round of the main key-the time will still be defined by the organizers. Already Paulista Beatriz Haddad Maia, number 21 of the world, will debut straight in the second round, probably on Saturday (9). In the doubles dispute – the keys will still be drawn – the participation of Paulista Luisa Stefani and miner Marcelo Melo are confirmed. In 2016, Melo won the title of Cincinnati pairs alongside Croatian Ivan Dodig – two years later Bruno Soares was also champion, alongside British Jamie Murray. Brazil also collects the title of simple from the 2001 edition, won by Gustavo Kuerten, Guga.
