The National Board of Justice (JNJ) ratified the position of the supreme prosecutor Zoraida Avalos this Thursday after an interview in which she was evaluated.
Dr. María Zavala, a member of the JNJ, refrained from participating in the vote. The suitably motivated resolution will be issued in the coming days.
It should be noted that Ávalos Rivera assumed the position on an interim basis, on January 8, 2019, due to the resignation of Pedro Chávarry. She was ratified in her functions, on March 7, for a period of three years.
