The National Board of Justice (JNJ) reported that the case study stage of the Public Contest No. 004-2021-SN/JNJ for the selection and appointment of supreme prosecutors, was rescheduled for next May 4, at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos ( UNMSM).
According to the decision made by the plenary of the JNJ, the change was made because the dates of the knowledge exams of calls No. 005-2021-SN/JNJ and No. 006-2021-SN/ were modified. JNJ, following the road block produced a few weeks ago in the interior of the country.
Applicants who are still in the race for the two seats for Supreme Prosecutor must choose a case at random that they must submit to analysis for 80 minutes, support for 20 minutes and answer questions for another 20 minutes. It is required to reach 66.66 points to go to the next stage.
The publication of the results will be published the same day through the Official Gazette of the Judiciary. Eligible applicants will proceed to the last stage: the personal interview.
It should be noted that the jnj informed that the knowledge exam for the selection contests and appointments of superior and specialized judges, and of superior, deputy and provincial prosecutors will be held this Sunday, April 24.
After reviewing the appeals for reconsideration, the jnj indicated that 379 candidates are eligible to take the evaluation for the position of judges, while 283 aspiring prosecutors will be able to take the test next Sunday.
In order for those who apply for these positions to continue in the race, they will have to obtain a minimum of 66.66 points out of 100. The evaluation will be multiple choice, in relation to eight common subjects for the judicial and prosecutorial career.
