The National Justice Board This Friday issued a statement in which it is pronounced on the opening of the disciplinary process against Janet TelloPresident of the Judiciary and four Supreme Judges.
The magistrates will be investigated for their “functional action as members of the First Constitutional and Social Law Transitory Law of the Supreme Court.”

The document issued today indicates that the autonomous agency “reaffirms that in all the disciplinary procedures they carry out, it is acted with the most absolute respect for due process and the right of defense of all administered.”
It also indicates that its performance is framed “within the functions that have been assigned by the Constitution”.
“The JNJ has the exclusive competence to investigate and punish offenses committed by the Supreme Judges, according to the principles of legality, transparency and objectivity that govern their action,” he says.
The text mentions that “this control is not only an obligation, but also a foundation tool to strengthen the confidence of citizenship in justice.” In addition, he points out that the complaint against the head of the Judiciary and four other judges was filed by the citizen Julio Ramón Cadenillas Díaz on November 4, 2024.
