JNE made official the results of primary elections for political parties and alliances

He National Election Jury (JNE) made official today, Thursday the 18th, the results of the primary elections of 17 political parties and electoral alliances after also doing so yesterday with 21 groups.

This completes the publication of the count carried out by the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) in the internal elections held on November 30 and December 7.

The officialization of these results was carried out through separate JNE resolutions published today in the Legal Standards bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano.

The proclamation of the results of the primary elections sent by the ONPE for 17 political groups is carried out after having managed to exceed the participation threshold established according to the chosen election modality, whether members or delegates.

These resolutions specify that the political groups and electoral alliances have exceeded the electoral threshold of the primary elections and are ready to present candidates before the Special Electoral Juries competent in the 2026 General Election process.

Likewise, the JNE indicates that the resolutions that make the results of the primaries official will be made known to the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) and the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (RENIEC).

They will also be communicated to the legal representatives and the presidents of the central electoral bodies of the corresponding political groups and electoral alliances.
