He JNE admitted for processing the presidential plan of the APRA headed by Enrique Valderramaafter the party corrected errors detected in the documentation presented for registration in the 2026 General Elections. The resolution was issued by the Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Lima Centro 1.

The statement comes after the APRA formula was initially declared inadmissible due to formal observations in the sworn statements of two of its members. The electoral body considered that these errors were corrected within the established legal period.
With this decision, the JNE ordered the official publication of the presidential formula and the summary of the government plan of the APRAa step that enables citizens to present possible objections against the board or one of its candidates.
Corrections allowed the initial inadmissibility to be reversed
The presidential formula of APRA was initially observed by the JEE due to errors in Annex 11 of the electoral regulations. In the case of Enrique Valderrama and his formula companion, omissions linked to signatures, fingerprints and express expressions of consent were detected.
The alternate legal representative of the party presented the corrected documentation within the period of two calendar days granted by the electoral authority. After a new review, the JEE concluded that the observations had been raised appropriately.
According to the resolution, the candidates meet the constitutional and legal requirements to apply, do not register current impediments and respect the results obtained in the primary elections, a condition required by electoral regulations.

What’s next for the APRA formula?
With the admission for processing, the JNE ordered the publication of the presidential plan of the APRA on its institutional portal and on the panel of the Special Electoral Jury. From the next day, the period of strikeouts provided for by law formally begins.
During this stage, any citizen with valid rights can question the candidacy as a whole or that of any of its members, as long as they support their request in accordance with electoral legislation.
If no objections are presented, or if they are declared unfounded, the JEE will proceed to the final registration of the formula headed by Enrique Valderramathus allowing APRA consolidate its participation in the 2026 presidential race.
