Jinotega merchant denounces that official media confused him with a police murderer

The Jinotegan merchant Wilfredo de Jesús Gutiérrez Arancibia denounced on his social networks that official media spread a photograph of his face as the gunman who murdered three Police officers in Matagalpa.

On his Facebook account, Gutiérrez Arancibia tried to “clear” his name by explaining the mistake made by the dictatorship’s propaganda media.

“In the first publications that were made, they shared the name of the alleged murderer (Wilfredo de Jesus Arancibia Espinoza), his ID number and they also attached a photo and it turned out not to be the criminal’s, but mine,” said the merchant in your social network account.

The man assures that he wrote to the media that had published his photograph and that there was no provision to clarify the error that affected his image and integrity.

“I am making this public to clarify that I am not the subject you are looking for and I request that you stop sharing my photo in the media. It should be noted that I already gave notice of the case to the National Police,” Gutiérrez stressed.

«Media such as Primerisima Nicaragua, Noticias Nicas, Focus Noticioso La Nueva Radio YA, among others, at no time were willing to clarify the matter, they believed it would be solved only by deleting the publication, but social networks do not work like that. My photo continues to be shared by other people saying that the murderer is me, tarnishing the good reputation I have made for myself for years, “he added.

The subject that the Police are looking for for the death of the officers is called Wilfredo de Jesús Arancibia Espinoza and the Jinotega merchant is Wilfredo de Jesús Gutiérrez Arancibia. He shares the same first name, but only one last name and not in the same order.

The death of the three agents

According to the police version, the officers died when they were shot at by three people in a bar, including Wilfredo de Jesús Arancibia Espinoza, 31, who allegedly committed a homicide on August 29, 2021.
