Wisconsin.- Dominican driver Jimmy Llibre won the ninth and tenth race in the fifth event of the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America championship held over the weekend at the Road America track located in Wisconsin, United States.
In the 911 GT3 Cup (991) category, Llibre imposed his talent and maintained impeccable driving on the six-kilometre, 515-meter circuit from free practice on Friday to the last race on Sunday.
The MDK Motorsports team driver now has seven victories in the championship, which places him in first place in the drivers’ standings with 459 points.
“One more achieved, again raising our flag and again showing that our country has it all,” he said in a post on his Instagram account.
He added that he feels very grateful for the support received, “Thanks to my work team and my sponsors who make this possible,” he said.

Llibre, the Creole driver who has filled Dominicans with pride, is preparing for the penultimate event of the championship to be held on September 2 at the Indy Road Course circuit in Indianapolis, United States, where he will once again demonstrate his skills and talent what characterize it.
The Porsche Sprint Challenge is a championship that consists of seven events and 14 races held in different locations in the United States. It began in April and ends in September, so far five events have already taken place.
