A 43-year-old man was detained by officials of the Valencia Municipal Police in the historic center of the city with wrappers of alleged drugs, Carabobo authorities reported.
The troops were in the operation during preventive patrol work when they saw the subject, who once noticed the presence of the authority, adopted a suspicious attitude, and also tried to evade the commission.
The authorities explained that for this reason the uniformed officers immediately told him to stop, carried out the proper body inspection and managed to seize several wrappers of alleged drugs called cripy hidden inside his clothing. It is presumed that they were for sale in the area.
The capture of the antisocial took place on Farriar Avenue, between Vargas Street and Rondón Street in the Cathedral parish.
After being detained by the officers, he was verified through the Police Investigation and Information System (Siipol), where he has records for improper use of a firearm, generic robbery, common generic theft, carrying, detaining or concealing a weapon and trading of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
The case was notified to the Public Ministry for its respective review.
