The president José Jerí He took the oath of his new cabinet, led by Ernesto Álvarez Miranda. After that, he assured that he is fully capable of combating citizen insecurity.
From outside the Government Palace, Jerí pointed out that although there are critical voices, the actions of the new cabinet will demonstrate that they are competent.
“We have a newly sworn cabinet that has the qualities to, through dialogue, combat citizen insecurity and manage the State in the best possible way to hand over the government next year,” he said at first.
“There are critical voices, it is inevitable. But it will be the management and government action of the entire Executive that demonstrates that this cabinet is competent, complements each other, has broad representation and that it will also contribute to defeating crime,” he stressed.
At another time, the president referred to the protest called for this Wednesday, October 15.
“I respect the right to protest of the sectors that feel abandoned, I invite them to dialogue, to reach understandings. Our country deserves that we be responsible. Let us have faith to be able to move forward as a country,” he stressed.
