Jenny Sotolongo will premiere a version of the classic “Blessed Santa Barbara”

The young Cuban interpreter Jenny Sotolongo The single, “Santa Bárbara bendita”, will be released on April 10 through music platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and Amazon Music.

As announced by the company Bass Clef Entertainment, “Jenny gives us a version of this popular song, with a very contemporary structure and musical arrangement, paying homage to the queen of Cuban country music Celina González.”

Originally from Ciego de Ávila, Jenny was known in the beginning thanks to her excellent vocal conditions and media interest that she gained in the 1990s. Since her artistic takeoff, she has performed on stages in Venezuela, Brazil, Algeria, Argentina, among others.

Installed in the United States, Stolongo participated in 2015 in the reality show TI have Talent, Lots of Talent and between 2017 – 2018 he starred in the Selena Super Show with songs from the famous Queen of Tex-Mex.

The popular song “Santa Bárbara bendita”, composed at the end of the ’40s by Lázaro Reutilio Domínguez and Celina González, has been interpreted by numerous artists, including the great Celia Cruz.

The musical number became a spectacular hit. Record companies immediately hired the duo of Celina and Reutilio, appearing on various Cuban radio programs.
