He Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Lima Centro 2 and Lima Oeste 3 declared inadmissible the lists of candidates for deputies for Metropolitan Lima and the Andean Parliament of the party Popular Renewalwhich postulates Rafael Lopez Aliaga as a presidential candidate in the General Elections 2026. According to the electoral body, the applicants made various omissions, which is why they were given a period of two days to correct the material errors.
First of all, let’s address the list of candidates for the Chamber of Deputies of the bicameral Congress.

In accordance with Resolution No. 00604-2025-JEE-LIO3/JNE, the current congresswoman Norma Yarrow He did not attach the charge for unpaid leave. For this reason, the JEE ordered the legal representative to present said document duly sealed or signed by the corresponding entity, that is, the Congress of the Republic. According to current regulations, this request must be submitted at least 60 days in advance of the date of the Elections.
The same occurs in the cases of José Baella Malca and Aquelina Solórzano Espinoza, who declared they currently work as security personnel and coordinator of the Municipality of Lima, respectively; However, they did not specify the labor regime to which they belong. For this reason, both must present the corresponding unpaid license.
Another case is that of the candidate Roxana Rocha Gallegos, who presented two inconsistencies when completing the Single Format of the Affidavit of Resume (DJHV). The JEE specified that Rocha attached her application for an unpaid license for serving as a councilor of the MML; but did not record this information in the item “Work experience in trades, occupations or professions.”
Likewise, the JEE maintains that Rocha also did not record information in the “Popular Election Positions” section of item IV of its DJHV Single Format. An inconsistency was noted in his sworn declaration of participation in the 2026 Elections, since he registered his information on December 20 of this year, but the confirmation of the registration was made a day later.
Another case is that of Lida Valdivieso. The electoral body warned that, in the “Income” item, Valdivieso stated that during the year 2024 he did not receive income from the public sector; However, in item 2 of the format she indicated that she served as councilor of the MML from 2023 to 2025.

Meanwhile, the JEE warned that Jhony Bacón Terrones did not correctly complete the form, since he did not specify the province or department corresponding to his address. Likewise, it was detected that María Dulanto Guinea incorrectly marked the “formula” and “deputies” options simultaneously in her registration. In the case of Olinda Salcedo, the electoral body reported that it did not record the name of the political party for which she is running.

On the other hand, the JEE warned that, in the case of the applicants Maali del Pomar Saettone and Carla Aranda Ramírez, the reception position seal of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima does not appear in their resignation letters.
In the case of Agusta Gamarra, the JEE ordered that she submit the application for a license without pay, because she currently works as a teacher in a school. The same requirement applies to Jessica Urquiza, Josep Pacherres, Jorge Guillén Sivirichi, Rosana Remigio Blas, Doris Alzamora Chamorro and Víctor Mathews Paredes, who work in the MML and in the municipalities of Jesús María, San Borja, La Molina and Lurigancho-Chosica, respectively.
For this reason, the JEE granted Renovación Popular two calendar days to correct the errors. On the JEE portal it appears that the political party has already corrected the errors detected. The electoral body must make a ruling after analyzing the registered documents.
