The former head of the Public Ministry, Jean Alain Rodríguez, will continue the judicial process of the Operation Medusa administrative corruption case, in which he appears as the main defendant, after he was transferred to his home from the prison last night from Najayo, where he had been imprisoned for more than 18 months.
Jean Alain will maintain an electronic shackle as long as he complies with the preventive home pressure issued last Wednesday by the judge of the Third Investigating Court, Amauri Martínez, by varying the measure of coercion at the request of the accused and his defense lawyers.
The coercive disposition of the judge towards the ex-prosecutor also contemplates the payment of an economic guarantee of 50 million pesos through an insurer, an exit impediment.
