JCE inaugurates new Civil Status Office in Dajabón

The Plenary session of the Central Electoral Board (JCE), headed by its president Roman Andres Jaquezinaugurated this Wednesday the new building that will house the offices of the Civil Status Office in the border town of Dajabón.

According to the president of the entity, Román Andrés Jaquez, the priority of that institution with the renovation, construction and inauguration of the official offices, is to guarantee the strengthening of the civil status registry of the Dominican Republic.

The opening ceremony was also attended by various authorities and personalities from the province. They valued as positive the investment made by the Central Board in the improvement of the infrastructure. They expressed that with this they are able to provide better services to citizens.

On the other hand, it is recalled that in April of this year the Central Electoral Board (JCE) inaugurated the Fifth and Sixth Civil Status Offices in the municipality of Santiago. The Delegation of the Civil Status Office was also opened at the Dr. Pedro E. Marchena Provincial Hospital, in Bonao.

The inaugural acts at that time were headed by the Plenary of the JCE, made up of its president, Román Andrés Jáquez Liranzo. In addition, by the titular members, Rafael Armando Vallejo Santelises, Dolores Altagracia Fernández Sánchez, Patricia Lorenzo Paniagua and Samir Rafael Chami Isa
