Javier Milei’s new plan to further reduce public spending

Javier Milei attacks journalism again

The president Javier Milei continues to move forward with its plan to reduce public spending in Argentina, and its next measure will focus on the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP). The Government will announce in the coming days a strong modification in the structure of the collecting entity, which will especially affect high-ranking employees who receive salaries between $14 and $32 million per month.

The decision to cut senior executive positions in the AFIP is part of a broader strategy of the Government of Javier Milei to reduce the fiscal deficit and improve the efficiency of the public sector. According to sources close to the Executive, the measure seeks to eliminate unnecessary expenses and reallocate resources towards priority areas, such as health, education and infrastructure.
