Chihuahua, Chih., The State Court of Administrative Justice of Chihuahua yesterday disqualified former PAN member Javier Corral from holding public office for one year, considering that he committed the serious lack of administrative responsibility called hidden illicit enrichment, when he was governor between 2016 and 2021. ; However, the senator from Morena will enjoy immunity for six years in the Senate.
Initially, Javier Corral was denounced by the local PRI deputy Omar Bazán in 2019 and then in 2022, who pointed him out to the state Secretariat of Public Administration for the purchase of land that he did not report in his asset declarations.
The now former deputy Omar Bazán indicated that he hopes that the former governor does not appeal the sentence.
